13-year-old Ukrainian wins gold at European Diving Championships

Ukrainian Oleksii Sereda, 13, has earned a victory in the men's 10m platform event at the 2019 European Diving Championships in Kyiv to become the youngest European champion in history.
He brought the third gold medal for Ukraine in the championship that was held in the Ukrainian capital from August 5 to August 11, according to Ukrinform.

Prior to that, Ukraine had two gold medals, three silver medals and a bronze. The other Ukrainian champions included Viktoriya Kesar and Stanislav Oliferchyk (3m mixed synchro) and Sofiia Lyskun (women's 3m platform).
