Ukrainian Paralympians urge to ban Russia, Belarus from competitions

Athletes and official representatives of the aggressor powers openly and shamelessly support the bloody moves of the Russian dictator, the killing of civilians, and the genocide of the Ukrainian people. And despite the lost reputation, Russia and Belarus are making desperate attempts to make their way back into the international sports community.

That’s according to an official statement by the National Sports Committee for the Disabled of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

Individual actors of international sports and organizations where Russians hold leading positions are reviewing the issue of the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions.

"In this regard, Ukrainian Paralympians declare that today, against the background of mass murders by aggressors and terrorists, the return of Russia and Belarus to Paralympic sports cannot even be discussed, including the option of their performance under a neutral flag," the statement says.
