Dynamo Kyiv win Ukrainian Cup title after beating Chernihiv

FC Dynamo Kyiv claimed the 2025/26 Ukrainian Cup title after defeating FC Chernihiv 3-1 in the final at Arena Lviv.

The decisive match saw the Kyiv side secure victory thanks to goals from Vitaliy Buyalskyi in the 26th and 54th minutes, while Andriy Yarmolenko added another goal in the 71st minute. Anatolii Romanchenko scored for Chernihiv in the 34th minute.

The triumph marked Dynamo's 14th Ukrainian Cup trophy since Ukraine gained independence.

For FC Chernihiv, it was the club's first-ever appearance in the Ukrainian Cup final.

Thanks to the victory, Dynamo Kyiv also secured a place in next season's UEFA Europa League.

A total of 68 teams took part in this season's Ukrainian Cup competition, including 21 amateur clubs.
