'Plich-o-plich': more than third of houses from first phase repaired in Kherson region
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Regional Military Administration, announced this at a briefing on the results of last week's work, Ukrinform reported.
"More than a third of the houses scheduled to be repaired in the first phase of the presidential project 'plich-o-plich' have been repaired," Prokudin said.
According to him, almost a thousand families have their homes repaired, and work is underway at 112 sites.
As for compensation under the eRecovery program, 133 applications were received. The commission made a favorable decision on one application and ordered a payment of UAH 226 thousand.
Prokudin noted that 25 applications have been received from owners of the houses that were destroyed. The commissions continue to analyze them.
As reported, 5,000 facilities are planned to be restored in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region in 2024 under various programs.
In the Kherson region, more than 1,500 homes are planned to be repaired in 2024 as part of the 'plich-o-plich' initiative.
As part of the 'plich-o-plich' program, at least 102 villages and settlements in the Kherson region will be restored by other regions of the country. This figure is not final, and the project will later include communities that are currently on the front line, as well as the temporarily occupied left bank.
Earlier, it was planned that 15 regions of Ukraine would rebuild 26 settlements in the Kherson region as part of the 'plich-o-plich' project.
