Almost 3,800 civilian facilities destroyed by Russian troops have been recovered in the de-occupied part of the Kherson region.

Anton Samoilenko, the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

"In total, almost 3,800 civilian objects have been rebuilt in the region, including more than 3,600 houses, 6 schools, 7 kindergartens, 22 healthcare facilities, and 6 administrative buildings," said Samoilenko.

He stressed that Russian troops shell residential infrastructure, leaving people homeless.

The Ukrainian government continues to support those whose homes have been damaged by enemy terror. In particular, the eRecovery program is operating in the region. In total, more than 3,500 families have received more than UAH 592 million, which could be used for construction materials or repair services, he said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 5,000 facilities are planned to be restored in the de-occupied part of the Kherson region in 2024 as part of various programs.
