The funding will be allocated for social infrastructure restoration, energy security support, demining projects, and economic development in the region.

"We are grateful to our Danish partners for their continuous support and active participation in projects aimed at improving infrastructure, energy security, and economic recovery. The Sixth Reconstruction Package we are discussing today will be a significant contribution to the development of our region," Kim said.

The funds will be used for the renovation of schools in the Mykolaiv region, modernization of energy infrastructure for municipal enterprises, procurement of trolleybuses, and support for water management projects.

Special attention was given to humanitarian demining, with more than EUR 4.5 million allocated for these efforts.

Mikkelsen emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation with the Mykolaiv region and a comprehensive approach to its development.

"Denmark firmly stands with Ukraine, and we take the reconstruction of the Mykolaiv region very seriously. The Sixth Reconstruction Package is not just financial aid but the result of close cooperation, joint planning, and a commitment to sustainable development. We are pleased to support projects that enhance social infrastructure, energy efficiency, demining, and economic growth," the ambassador said.

Denmark earlier allocated EUR 44 million for the reconstruction of critical infrastructure in the Mykolaiv region.
