Exports of agricultural products through the Danube ports will come to 1.3 million tonnes in July, according to Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
In recent years, Ukraine was among the TOP-5 largest suppliers of organic products to the EU. By 2030, it is planned to increase the export of organic foods to $1 billion.
The Joint Coordination Center, which will take care of the export of grain and other foodstuffs from the ports of Ukraine through the Black Sea, has opened officially in Istanbul.

The resumption of Ukraine’s grain exports will begin from the port of Chornomorsk.
On 14:00, the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center is hosting a briefing on the topic: "Safe transportation of grain and food through the sea ports of Ukraine."

The United Nations has assured the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine that the unofficial comment of an "unnamed source," published by The New York Times, does not reflect the position of the organization regarding the Russian missile attack on the port of Odesa.
Russia’s State Duma member Yevgeniy Popov and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova acknowledged the strikes on the Odesa port, naming different targets though. Popov said Russians had been targeting Harpoon missiles, Zakharova – a military boat.
After the Russian missile attack on Odesa on July 23, Defense Minister of Türkiye Hulusi Akar had a conversation with Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov and Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov. According to Akar, he also had a phone call with Russia on this issue.
The United States has strongly condemned Russia’s missile strike on the port of Odesa, following the signing of the agreement to allow Ukrainian grain exports.
