Invaders do not let people through checkpoint in Vasylivka for 10 days

For 10 days, the occupiers do not let residents of the temporarily occupied territories go through Vasylivka checkpoint towards Zaporizhzhia.

"For 10 days already, the ruscists have not let the residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions go through Vasylivka towards Zaporizhzhia," Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov posted on Telegram.

He added that for 10 months, the occupiers intensified terror and made evacuation more difficult by artificially creating queues of thousands at checkpoints, introducing a system of special travel passes, for which it was necessary to wait up to a month at the occupation commandant's office. A month ago, the Russians banned men fit for military service from leaving, and now they don't even let children, women, and elderly people out.

Earlier it was reported that people who still try to pass are told to leave a car and go 10-15 km to Zaporizhzhia on foot. The occupiers said that the road was closed until January 15.
