Kyiv mayor: Fire breaks out in Solomianskyi district, probably after falling drone wreckage
In Solomianskyi district of the capital, a fire broke out that was likely caused by the wreckage falling from an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Explosions and fire in Solomianskyi district of the capital. It was probably caused by UAV debris. All services are heading to the scene. Details will be later," the report says.
Later, the mayor reported that the fire broke out in a 4-story building.
"In Solomianskyi district, rescuers are extinguishing a fire in a 4-story building. The burning area is 50 squire meters," Klitschko noted.
According to him, no one has yet sought medical care.
As reported, an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down over Kyiv on Thursday evening.
