Casualties in Kryvyi Rih as Russian missile hits apartment block

A Russian high-precision missile hit a residential building in Kryvyi Rih. Casualties have been reported. Some people could remain under the rubble.

Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of Kryvyi Rih City Military Administration reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Kryvyi Rih. ‘High-precision’ monsters hit several completely peaceful objects in different parts of the city, including a five-storey apartment block. All emergency services scrambled to the scene, the firefighting is wrapping up," Vilkul wrote.

He added that the medics were providing first aid to those affected at the scene. Some injured civilians are in grave condition, and some people are believed to be remaining under the rubble of the destroyed building.

The reports from the ground are being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, air raid alert was announced across Ukraine overnight Tuesday as the Russian invasion forces launched a barrage of missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones.
