Kryvyi Rih missile attack: Local administration confirms civilian deaths

As a result of an overnight missile strike hitting a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, an industrial city in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, a number of local residents have been killed.

That’s according to the chief of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, who broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Another terrorist act by the Russians targeting the residential sector. At night. Insidious. Cruel. There are dead and wounded," Lysak wrote.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a Russian high-precision missile hit a five-storey apartment block in Kryvyi Rih, where casualties were reported. A number of residents are believed to be remaining under the rubble.

The enemy employed Kh-101/555 cruise missiles in their overnight attack on Kyiv. All of the missiles were downed by Ukraine’s air defense systems.

Russian forces overnight Tuesday also launched Iranian-made Shahed one-way attack drones at Kharkiv, hitting a civilian industrial enterprise within the city limits.
