No damage in Kyiv in latest missile attack - Klitschko
There are no damaged objects in Kyiv as a result of today's missile attack.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"There are no damaged objects or houses in Kyiv after the missile attack," Klitschko noted.
He clarified that explosions heard in the Podilskyi district were the result of air defense capabilities engaging incoming targets.
The Kyiv mayor thanked the air defense forces for their performance.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 16, Ukrainian air defense destroyed six Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, six Kalibr cruise missiles, and two reconnaissance UAVs.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, referred to the Russian missile attack targeting Kyiv during the visit of African leaders a signal that shows Russia's true intentions.
