Woman injured in Kharkiv region as result of Russian shelling of Vovchansk

As a result of another Russian shelling of the city of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, a woman was injured.

The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, reported on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, this morning the enemy once again attacked the city of Vovchansk. A 58-year-old local resident was injured. She was hospitalized," the statement said.

The press service also noted that a 300-square-meter house caught fire on June 19 as a result of shelling by the Russian military in Vovchansk. Other private households were also damaged.

The investigative and prosecutorial group recorded the consequences of Russia's armed aggression, and pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been launched.

As reported, over the past day, the enemy continued to shell civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Izyum districts of the Kharkiv region with artillery, mortars and aircraft. Two people were injured as a result of a mine explosion in the Izyum district.
