Zaluzhnyi praises performance of HIMARS in Ukraine

The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) has proven to be effective on the front in Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Zaluzhnyi, the Ukrainian military are pleased with the performance of HIMARS and mention that Russians are very afraid of these systems.

“This weapon system has proven to be effective on the front. Our warriors skillfully and accurately hit the assigned targets: ammunition depots, military equipment and enemy personnel clusters,” Zaluzhnyi wrote, referring to the military.

A reminder that, on May 31, 2023, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications in the White House John Kirby confirmed the allocation of a new military aid package to Ukraine, including the HIMARS missiles, the Avenger air defense systems, and the Stinger anti-aircraft systems.
