Invaders shell Mykolaivka in Donetsk region, casualties reported
On June 30, one person was killed and another one was injured in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaivka village in Donetsk region.
Suspilne reported this with reference to spokeswoman for the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office Anastasia Medvedeva, according to Ukrinform.
"On the afternoon of June 30, the Russian military shelled the village of Mykolaivka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, a man was killed and a woman was injured,” the report says.
It is noted that the shelling began around 15:50.
“A 46-year-old man died in his own garden, and a 42-year-old woman suffered shrapnel injuries. She was provided with medical assistance," Medvedeva said.
According to the spokeswoman, Russian troops likely shelled the village with artillery.
A pre-trial investigation was launched under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
As reported, as a result of Russian attacks, two people were killed and six others were injured, and a school was damaged in Serhiivka village, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
