Russian forces shell Nikopol, woman injured
The Russian army struck Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring a 72-year-old woman.
Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, the enemy hit Nikopol again. As a result of artillery fire, a 72-year-old woman was injured," he wrote.
The woman was taken to the hospital. She suffered a blast injury and has numerous bruises on her back. Currently, her condition is satisfactory.
In addition, 15 residential buildings, six farm buildings, a car and five power lines were damaged.
In other communities of the region, the day passed calmly.
As reported by Ukrinform, the occupiers attacked Nikopol district three times on August 10. Nikopol came under artillery fire twice. Five residential buildings and three farm buildings were damaged.
