Russian drones target infrastructure facility in Zhytomyr region
Russian troops attacked one of the infrastructure facilities in Zhytomyr region with kamikaze drones. The debris caused a fire.
That’s according to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy attacked one of the infrastructure facilities in our region with kamikaze drones. The debris from the downed drone caused a fire broke out, which was contained by the State Emergency Service team," the official wrote on Telegram.
According to Bunechko, there were no casualties on the ground.
Damage assessment is still underway.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed 15 of 17 enemy Shahed-136/131 attack drones launched overnight Saturday.
