Germany sends new military aid package to Ukraine

Germany has handed over a new security assistance package to Ukraine.

The list of military assistance provided to Ukraine was updated on the website of the German Federal Government, Ukrinform reports.

In addition to the previously announced aid, Ukraine received:

  • 3 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns GEPARD;
  • 3 rounds 155mm smoke/illuminating ammunition;
  • 1 bridge-laying tanks BEAVER;
  • 20 reconnaissance drones RQ-35 HEIDRUN;
  • 20 reconnaissance drones VECTOR;
  • 3 border protection vehicles;
  • 3 truck tractor trains 8x8 HX81 and 3 semi-trailers.

As reported by Ukrinform, Federal Chancellor of Germany Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in phone conversation discussed the current military and humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
