Ukrainian troops repel six enemy attacks in Orikhiv direction and two near Krynky
In the operational area of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled six Russian assaults in the Orikhiv direction and two on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Over the past day, the occupiers made six assaults in the Orikhiv direction. They were unsuccessful,” the message says.
On the left bank of the Dnipro River in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the enemy made two unsuccessful assaults near the village of Krynky. They suffered losses and retreated to their previous positions.
Ukrainian soldiers continue to take comprehensive measures to hold their positions.
The Russian invaders are putting pressure with artillery shelling, airstrikes, using a large number of attack drones of various types, and continuing aerial reconnaissance.
Over the past day, two reconnaissance UAVs were spotted flying in the operational zone.
Continuing to terrorize civilians in the frontline areas of the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other regions, the enemy used 356 FPV drones, three Lancet attack UAVs, and dropped 392 shrapnel munitions from UAVs of various modifications.
As reported, 100 combat engagements took place over the past day, the hottest spot was in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks.
