Woman injured as Russians launch 518 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region in past day

Russian invading forces launched 518 strikes on nine settlements in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region on Sunday, June 23.

Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, one woman was injured during an enemy airstrike in the Polohy district.

The enemy carried out airstrikes on Verkhnia Tersa and Kamianske. As many as 193 UAVs targeted Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Novoandriivka. Twenty-nine MLRS attacks hit Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Levadne, and Novoandriivka. Some 294 artillery strikes were launched on Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Levadne, and Malynivka.

On June 23, the enemy shelled the village of Verkhnia Tersa, Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region, injuring an 87-year-old woman.
