Top Ukrainian, NATO commanders discuss battlefield situation, Ukraine's immediate needs
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, commander of U.S. European Command General Christopher Cavoli have discussed in a phone call the situation on front lines and Ukraine's immediate needs in fighting off Russian invaders.
Syrskyi announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The situation on the battlefield was discussed in detail. It is important that our allies be aware of the complexity of the situation at the front," he said.
Syrskyi informed Cavoli about Ukraine's priority needs in countering Russian attacks, which are constantly intensifying, and thanked him "for powerful support for our army."
