Russian army loses 1,280 more soldiers in Ukraine in past 24 hours

Russia's overall combat losses in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and July 2, 2024 amounted to about 545,090 troops, including 1,280 soldiers killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 8,107 (+8) Russian tanks, 15,566 (+16) armored fighting vehicles, 14,655 (+56) artillery systems, 1,114 (+3) multiple rocket launchers, 874 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 2,335 (+2) cruise missiles. The Russian army also lost 360 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 11,641 (+21) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 19,787 (+74) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,452 (+4) pieces of special equipment.
