Enemy drone strike in Chernihiv region leaves nearly 6,000 consumers without electricity

An enemy drone struck a facility in the Chernihiv region overnight, leaving 5,963 consumers without electricity.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Unfortunately, the enemy Shakhed hit an object in the region. Some 5,963 consumers currently remain without electricity. Power engineers are working to restore [the power supply]," the post said.

An air raid alert in the Chernihiv region lasted more than five hours last night.
