Russia's strike on Dnipro: five dead, number of injured rises to 53

The number of victims of Russia's combined morning attack on the Dnipro River has increased to 53.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak, Ukrinform reports.

"According to updated information, there are already 53 victims in Dnipro. Four of them are in serious condition," he wrote.

While the regional center is eliminating the consequences of the massive attack, the aggressor continues to shell Nikopol district, Lysak informed.

According to him, during the day, the Russians shelled the Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and artillery. Nikopol itself, Pokrovska, Marhanetska and Myrivska communities were under attack.

"The infrastructure was damaged. Four private houses, five outbuildings, a dormitory, a truck and a gas pipeline were destroyed. People are safe," Lysak added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, five people were killed in Dnipro as a result of a morning Russian attack with missiles and drones. Earlier there was information about 47 victims, including a child.

On July 4, the city declared a day of mourning for the victims of Russian missile attacks that have occurred in recent days.
