Estonia says Mistral systems and missiles for them are already in Ukraine

Mistral short-range air defense systems and missiles for them provided by Estonia have been delivered to Ukraine.

The Estonian Ministry of Defense confirmed this on the social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

“Mistral short-range air defence systems and missiles provided by Estonia have been delivered to Ukraine. Let's keep supporting freedom fighters,” the post reads.

Mistral is a French modern air defense missile system for engaging helicopters and aircraft. Mistral is available in a portable version (man-portable air defense system) and for use on launch platforms for vehicles, ships and helicopters. The system has a range of up to 6 km and is designed for protection against relatively low-flying aircraft and helicopters.
