Ukrainian air defenders shoot down 13 Shahed drones overnight
Ukraine's air defense forces shot down all of the 13 Shahed-131/136 drones that Russia used to attack Ukraine overnight.
Ukrainian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, overnight into Sunday, July 7, the Russians attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 13 Shahed-131/136 UAVs launched from the Kursk region.
The anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 13 Shahed drones in the Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions.
