Ukrainian forces destroy 90 Russian soldiers, 34 pieces of enemy equipment on southern front

Ukrainian forces killed 90 Russian troops and destroyed 34 pieces of weapons and military equipment of the enemy on the southern axis in the past 24 hours.

The press service of the Southern Defense Forces announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Southern Defense Forces continue to inflict fire damage on enemy locations, striking their positions and rear. During the past day, we received confirmation of a reduction in the number of enemy personnel by 90 people. The enemy also lost 34 pieces of weapons and military equipment," the post reads.

In particular, Ukrainian forces destroyed four guns, two mortars, 14 armored vehicles, a motorcycle, seven reconnaissance drones, a portable ground intelligence station, a video surveillance camera, and four boats.

A field supply point, a field logistics point, and four dugouts were also destroyed.

Russia lost about 550,990 troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to July 7, 2024, including 1,150 killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.
