Despite Russia's attack on Okhmatdyt, United States does not lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of weapons

The Russian missile strike on the Okhmatdyt hospital did not change the US policy of prohibiting Ukraine from striking targets deep inside the territory of the Russian Federation with US weapons.

This was announced by White House adviser John Kirby, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Kirby said that their policy has not changed. A few weeks ago, the president authorized Ukraine to use American weapons to strike directly across the border. This is how it remains.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 8, Russia launched massive strikes in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and other cities in Ukraine. According to recent reports, 42 people were killed, including four children, and 190 were injured.
