Three women wounded in Russian attack on Kupiansk district in Kharkiv region - prosecutor's office
Three women have been injured in enemy strikes on the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"According to the investigation, on July 14, at around 12:00, Russian troops shelled the village of Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district. An apartment building was damaged. A 70-year-old woman was injured, and she was treated at the scene. Pre-trial investigations have been launched under the procedural leadership of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office in the Kharkiv region over the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the post reads.
This morning the Russian military also shelled the city of Kupiansk: the warehouse of a civilian enterprise was on fire.
On July 13, at about 18:20, Russian forces also shelled the city. Two women aged 72 and 73 were injured. Private houses were damaged. According to preliminary information, the enemy struck Kupiansk with guided aerial bombs.
Prosecutors and police investigators are taking measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian army.
