Russia’s casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,110 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to July 16, 2024 amount to about 561,400 people, including 1,110 people in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

Also, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed 8,227 Russian tanks (+13 in the past 24 hours), 15,862 (+36) armored fighting vehicles, 15,368 (+44) artillery systems, 1,119 MLR systems, 892 (+2) air defense systems, 361 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 12,193 (+45) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 2,398 cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a submarine, 20,680 (+57) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 2,577 (+8) units of specialized equipment.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the past 24 hours, 119 combat clashes have taken place between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian invaders at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk axis.
