AFU repel 12 Russian assaults in south overnight

In the operational zone of the Southern Defence Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks in the Orikhiv direction and five on the left bank of the Dnipro River near Krynky yesterday.

According to Ukrinform, the Southern Defence Forces of Ukraine reported this in a Telegram message.

"The enemy does not stop trying to drive our units out of their positions. Over the past day, in the operational area of the Southern Defence Forces, the occupiers carried out 7 attacks in the Orikhiv direction and 5 on the left bank of the Dnipro near Krynky," the statement said.

The Russian invaders are putting pressure with artillery shelling, air strikes, using a large number of attack drones of various types, and are actively conducting aerial reconnaissance.

Thus, over the past day, 282 reconnaissance UAVs were recorded flying in the operational area.

It is also noted that in the operational zone of the Southern Defence Forces, the enemy used 185 FPV drones, 5 Lancet attack UAVs, and dropped 189 fragmentation munitions from drones of various modifications yesterday.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of 20 July, the Defence Forces shot down 12 Russian Shahed attack drones and one UAV of an unspecified type.
