Russians taking garbage to TOT of Donetsk region, almost 4 million tons of waste there - National Resistance Center
The temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region are drowning in almost four million tons of waste, half of which was brought here from Russia from the Rostov region.
This was reported by the National Resistance Center, Ukrinform reports.
“3 million 620 thousand tons of hazardous waste are lying in the open air in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region... The occupation authorities have made the Donetsk region a kind of landfill for dumping waste from the Rostov region. After all, half of the toxic waste was brought here from Russia,” the statement reads.
It is noted that no one disposes of this waste or neutralizes it. On the contrary, the amount of garbage is only increasing every month.
The Russian occupation administration does not see this as a problem, and convinces the locals that a waste processing plant will soon be built here.
“However, while the enemy's henchmen are making promises, the landfills are growing exponentially. For example, under the guise of a processing plant, the occupiers are organizing a new landfill “Luhansk” near Rodakove on the border of Lutuhyn and Slovianoserbskyi districts,” the National Resistance Center said and called for reporting enemy crimes, its location, and equipment via an anonymous link.
As reported, since the beginning of the year, the occupiers have taken 165 thousand tons of cargo from the temporarily occupied Mariupol seaport, including more than 84 thousand tons of agricultural products.
