Russian drone targets coal mining site in Ukrainsk, Donetsk region
On Friday, Russia shelled the town of Ukrainsk, located in the Selydove community in Donetsk region. A coal mining enterprise and a number of power lines were damaged.
This was reported on Telegram by the municipal military administration, Ukrinform saw.
"Russian troops continue their daily shelling of the Selydove community. Today, July 26, 2024, at approximately 10:30, the Russian invasion forces shelled the town of Ukrainsk, using a kamikaze UAV. As a result of the strikes, power lines and buildings of the coal mining enterprise were affected," the statement says.
No casualties were reported, officials say.
As reported, the Donetsk region has the longest front line of nearly 300 km.
The region is under constant shelling by Russian invasion forces as almost every day, the enemy keeps killing and injuring civilians, destroying households, businesses, as well as energy, gas, and other critical infrastructure facilities.
