Southern defence forces repelled four attacks in Orikhiv and three near Krynky overnight
In the operational area of the Southern Defence Forces, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by Russian troops in the Orikhiv direction and three on the left bank of the Dnipro River near Krynki yesterday.
According to Ukrinform, the Southern Defence Forces of Ukraine reported this in a telegram.
"The enemy does not stop trying to drive our units out of their positions. Over the past day, the occupiers carried out 4 assaults in the Orikhiv direction and 3 on the left bank of the Dnipro near Krynki," the statement said.
Russian troops are putting pressure with artillery shelling, air strikes, using a large number of attack drones of various types, and actively conducting aerial reconnaissance.
Over the past 24 hours, 262 reconnaissance UAVs were spotted flying over the southern operational zone.
The Russians used 191 FPV drones, one Lancet strike UAV, and dropped 373 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of various modifications yesterday.
As reported by Ukrinform, 129 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the past day, with increased activity of Russian troops observed in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kurakhove directions.
