Black Sea update: three Russian missile carriers spotted on combat duty
In the Black Sea, Russia deployed three Kalibr cruise missile carriers.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Navy in a morning update, seen by Ukrinform.
"There are three enemy warships in the Black Sea that are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 12 missiles; there are no enemy warships in the Sea of Azov," the report says.
In the Mediterranean, two enemy ships remain on combat duty, including a Kalibr carrier with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles, the update adds.
As regards navigation across the Kerch Strait, the Navy command noted that Russia secured passage of 10 ships to the Black Sea, of which three proceeded toward the Bosphorus Strait; and eight ships crossed to the Sea of Azov, including four that came from the Bosphorus Strait.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian warships arrived in Cuba for the second time in two months.
