Woman killed, man and baby wounded in Pokrovsk as result of Russian shelling

In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, a woman was killed and a man and a three-month-old boy were injured as a result of a strike by Russian troops.

The Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The epicenter of the attack was the city's apartment buildings.

“As a result of an enemy attack, a woman was killed in one of the houses, and a 3-month-old boy and a 51-year-old man were injured. The infant was diagnosed with mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries and concussion,” the OPG informed.

The type of weapon used is being established.

Law enforcement officers opened proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war, which caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). A pre-trial investigation is underway.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the afternoon of December 3, Russian troops shelled Pokrovsk, damaging eight high-rise buildings and two cars. At the time, there was no information about the victims.
