Zelensky: Donetsk directions of front require significant reinforcement

President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that front lines in Donetsk region require substantial reinforcement, particularly regarding arms supply to the Ukrainian Defense Forces from partners.

He mentioned this in his evening video address, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Today, a lot of work has been done regarding our army – relevant meetings were held. At the beginning of the day – the Commander-in-Chief reported on the situation, the main tasks that need to be implemented right now, and the difficulties on the frontline. Significant reinforcements are needed in the Donetsk directions. And this includes arms supplies from our partners – it is a direct dependence: the greater our army's firepower is, the more technological capabilities we have, the more effectively we can destroy Russia's offensive potential and protect our warriors' lives,” Zelensky said.

According to him, Ukraine is discussing this issue in detail with partners and is also working independently to increase its own production capacity and develop the Ukrainian defense industry.

"We will have more long-range capabilities of our own," the President emphasized.

As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, where reports were heard on the production of drones, missiles, and artillery in Ukraine.
