CinC Syrskyi about Pokrovsk front: intense battles requiring unconventional decisions
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, visited the 38th Separate Marine Brigade during his work in the Pokrovsk sector of the front.
According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi reported this on Telegram.
"Currently, battles continue in the Pokrovsk sector against the enemy superior primarily in manpower. We must make unconventional decisions to enhance the resilience of our defense and more effectively destroy the invaders," the commander noted.
He stated that "the fighting is extremely intense. Russian invaders are deploying all available forces, attempting to break through the defenses of our troops. Ukrainian soldiers are demonstrating extraordinary resilience and are inflicting significant losses on the enemy."
Syrskyi emphasized: "In these conditions, our main task is to strengthen the defense, particularly by ensuring the units have a sufficient supply of ammunition and its constant delivery."
The commander listened to reports about existing issues and gave appropriate instructions.
"I am grateful to the soldiers for their courage and resilience in the fight against the enemy," Syrskyi emphasized.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian forces engaged in 203 combat clashes with Russian invaders on December 11, with the largest number of skirmishes recorded in the Kurakhove sector.
