AFU shoot down 100 Russian drones, 63 vanish from radar

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have shot down 100 Russian drones, and another 63 enemy UAVs have been lost.

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.

Starting at 19:30 on Friday, March 21, Russians attacked Ukraine with 179 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones from the directions of: Millerovo, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.

As of 08:30 on Saturday, March 22, 100 Shahed and other types of attack UAVs were confirmed to have been shot down in the south, north and center of Ukraine.

63 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).

The consequences of the Russian attack were recorded in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, two people were killed and 13 injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of an attack by Russian drones on the evening of March 21.
