Ukrainian-made 'Chaklun' drone approved for use in AFU
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use the multifunctional, domestically-produced ‘Chaklun’ drone, which is designed in an airplane configuration and operates effectively even in poor weather conditions.
This is according to a report by the Ministry of Defense shared by Ukrinform.
The drone is compact yet highly versatile, with the ability to adjust artillery fire. Made with high-tech materials, it is resistant to enemy electronic warfare measures.
Additionally, this UAV system runs on specialized control software developed by Ukrainian programmers specifically for the ‘Chaklun’ drone. Harsh weather conditions are not a limiting factor for its operation.
The Ministry of Defense reminded manufacturers and developers of military equipment that they can contact the Main Directorate of Armament and Military Equipment Lifecycle Support for further codification inquiries at the email: mdalc@mil.ua.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the first nine months of 2024, the Ministry of Defense codified and approved 17 demining equipment samples for use by the Defense Forces.
