Power supply partially restored in Borshchova in Kharkiv region, networks almost destroyed
Power engineers have started connecting subscribers in the village of Borshchova, in the Kharkiv district, where networks and equipment were destroyed by 70-100%.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
"Kharkivoblenergo specialists have partially restored power supply in the village of Borshchova. According to the power engineers, the level of damage of overhead power lines and electrical equipment in the village ranges from 70% to 100%," the statement said.
It is noted that repair work in the village began two weeks ago, immediately after receiving permission from the sappers. A lot of tripwires, "Petal" mines and unexploded shells were found in the village.
"Currently, two streets in Borshchova have been connected to the power grid, which is about 30 households or 10-15% of the total number of metering points. The settlement is planned to be fully powered by the end of summer," the regional power company informs.
Borshchova, occupied since the beginning of the invasion, was liberated by Ukrainian defenders on September 11, 2022.
As reported, in June, power engineers fully restored electricity supply in the village of Vesele, in the Kharkiv district, which had been without power since the beginning of the full-scale war.
