Poroshenko, former New York Mayor Giuliani discuss ways to overcome Russian aggression

President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, the president’s press service reports.

"The president thanked [Giuliani] for the powerful and reliable support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence," reads the report.

The interlocutors also discussed ways to overcome Russian aggression against Ukraine.

In addition, President Poroshenko noted the importance of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the field of cyber security.

He also informed the former New York mayor about the reforms being carried out in Ukraine.

Rudolf Giuliani, in turn, thanked the Ukrainian president for the meeting and noted that since his last visit in 2004, significant changes have happened in Ukraine and Kyiv.
