Zelensky, Scholz discuss Russia's pseudo-referendums, defense cooperation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in a phone call discussed the illegally held pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine and cooperation in the defense sphere.
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky said this on Facebook.
"I had a substantive talk with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. I thanked him for a powerful statement in support of Ukraine in his speech at the opening of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York," Zelensky said.
Both parties discussed bilateral defense cooperation and illegally held pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
