Zelensky calls on NATO allies to take specific actions to implement Ukraine’s peace formula
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine during his address to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, called on the Alliance members to take concrete action to implement the Ukrainian peace formula, which will guarantee peace and justice for Ukraine and the entire Euro-Atlantic community.
The head of state spoke of this in his traditional video address on Monday, Ukrinform reports.
"I spoke today in my address to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly about Ukraine's contribution to defending freedom and European values. I called on the members of the Alliance to take specific action to implement the Ukrainian peace formula, which can reliably guarantee peace and justice for Ukraine and the entire Euro-Atlantic community, and also called on all parliaments of NATO member states to finally pass a decision on recognizing Russia as a terrorist state. I believe that gradually we will achieve this result. This is how Russia will be perceived in the world. It is exactly what it has become – a terrorist state," the president emphasized.
He thanked all members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, who today adopted the relevant resolution confirming this and other initiatives put forward by Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on October 13, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution recognizing the Russian regime as “terrorist.” Today, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly called for the creation of a special international tribunal regarding the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and recognized the Russian Federation as a terrorist state.
