Zelensky, Belgian PM discuss Ukraine’s defense needs, peace formula

President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed urgent defense needs of Ukraine with Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, and invited him to join the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula.

“I had a phone call with Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo. We discussed the current defense needs of Ukraine given possible escalation at the front. I invited Belgium to join the implementation of our 10-step Peace Formula. I also thanked for sheltering Ukrainian citizens,” Zelensky said in a Telegram post.

As reported, in November, Volodymyr Zelensky presented the Ukrainian Peace Formula. In particular, it is about radiation, nuclear, food, and energy security, the release of all prisoners and deportees, implementation of the UN Charter, and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the world order, withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities, the return of justice, countering ecocide, preventing escalation, and fixating the end of war
