PMs of Ukraine, Sweden discuss increasing sanctions pressure on Russia

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed military aid and increasing sanctions pressure on the aggressor with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.

As Shmyhal posted on Telegram, special attention during the meeting was paid to the creation of an international tribunal to hold Russia's top leadership to account. The officials also considered the issue of strengthening Ukraine's resilience, including the restoration of the energy infrastructure.

"We hold negotiations on increasing the electricity imports from the EU. I am grateful to the Swedish government and the Swedish people for their comprehensive support," Shmyhal added.

The Head of Government emphasized that he has high hopes for Sweden's presidency of the Council of the European Union.

As reported, Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson pays a working visit to Ukraine.
