Ukraine and EU hold another round of talks on security agreement

The Presidential Office hosted another round of negotiations on a security agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Office of the President.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva held another round of talks with Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service for Peace, Security and Defence Charles Fries on EU security guarantees.

"Today's talks are another step towards the implementation of the G7 Joint Declaration on Support for Ukraine and preparations for the conclusion of a security agreement between Ukraine and the EU," the Presidential Office said.

It is noted that the negotiating teams thoroughly discussed the text of the draft agreement and approved an algorithm for further actions in the near future.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine has already signed bilateral security agreements with 15 countries.
