This is reported by Sky News, Ukrinform saw.
In a national address, Yoon Suk Yeol said: "I have accepted decision made by the National Assembly to dissolve and lift the martial law."
According to the BBC, moments after the president’s announcement, crowds gathered outside the parliament building began celebrating.
Earlier, on Tuesday, December 3, President Yoon Suk Yeol had declared martial law following a decision by the opposition Democratic Party in the Budget Committee to fast-track a revised budget proposal and submit resolutions for the impeachment of the head of the Board of Audit and Inspection and the country’s chief prosecutor.
In response, the South Korean National Assembly passed a resolution demanding the president revoke the martial law.
