Ukraine keeps beating own COVID-19 vaccination records
Ukraine health officials reported a new daily vaccination high as over 317,000 Ukrainians have received their jabs in the past 24 hours.
That’s according to the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports referring to the ministry’s post on Facebook.
It is noted that more than 10 million people have already received at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19.
Throughout the day on October 29, a total of 317,209 people were vaccinated for COVID-19, of whom 232,698 received their first dose and 84,511 were fully immunized.
Since the launch of the inoculation campaign in the country, 10,022,978 people have been vaccinated, of whom 10,022,976 have received their first shot and 7,377,032 have completed the two-jab course.
A total of 17,400,008 vaccinations have been performed.
So far, with 16.5% of the fully immunized population, Ukraine remains among the least vaccinated countries in Europe, while the latest pace of vaccination has been on the steady rise.
As reported by Ukrinform, on October 29, Ukraine recorded 26,198 new COVID-19 cases.
