Drones, ambulances, bridges: Zelensky thanks United24 platform donors on anniversary of its creation

On the anniversary of the creation of the United24 fundraising platform, President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked all the donors.

"UNITED24 turns one year old. We envisioned a fundraising platform that would unite the whole world around helping Ukraine. And it succeeded. Millions of people in over a hundred countries support our country through UNITED24. With the funds raised through the platform, relevant ministries purchased 176 ambulances, as well as hundreds of units of medical devices and equipment for Ukrainian defenders, the first demining machine in Ukraine, contracted more than 3,839 UAVs, rebuilt 11 bridges in the de-occupied areas of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, and set up the world's first fleet of naval drones," Zelensky posted on Telegram.

Zelensky thanked all the platform donors whose contributions "save lives, restore lives, protect lives, and bring the victory of Ukraine closer."

As reported, the United24 platform has raised $325 million to support Ukraine over the past year.
